RANDY JONAKAIT was born a lifetime ago in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, where he attended public schools. He graduated from Princeton University and the University of Chicago Law School. He moved to New York City (really Brooklyn) after graduating from law school where he has resided since. He spends the summers in the Poconos of Pennsylvania. He has done public defender work with the New York City Legal Aid Society and public defender stints in Florida and Pennsylvania. He has been on the faculty of several law schools and is now a Professor of Law, Emeritus. He is a much-injured hack athlete who reads a lot but remembers only a fraction of what he has read. He watches too much sports. He is inordinately proud of being a licensed New York City sightseeing guide.
MILL JONAKAIT, the spouse, is a retired neuroscientist who reads and does volunteer work.
AJ JONAKAIT, the nonbinary progeny (the NBP), administers a nonprofit, reads, writes, and reclaims found objects.
